After the studio’s project was picked up by 2K Games following the collapse of THQ, many weren’t sure what to expect from the game....

The “four-legged fossil fish” known as the coelacanth has been found alive and well in the West Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar, according to a report from the nonprofit environmental conservation platform Mongabay News. Their re-emergence is in part thanks to fishermen using gillnets in their shark-hunting expeditions, the outlet reported. As they continue to target sharks for their fins, oil and other commercial enterprises, the high-tech deep-sea nets are able to reach where coelacanths gather, about 328 to 492 feet below the water’s surface....

Dr. Deaths stars Joshua Jackson as Dr. Christopher Duntsch, Christian Slater as Dr. Randall Kirby, and Alec Baldwin as Dr. Robert Henderson, the two surgeons who campaigned for Duntsch to never operate again. Mr. Robots’ Grace Gummer portrays Kimberly Morgan in the series, Duntsch’s former assistant. Who is Kimberly Morgan? In Legends, gamers assume the role of an ally to the Viscount of Kaiten, Ravi. Something has happened to Elton, Ravi’s son, and the player is trusted to save him. Legends promises to have players battling against demons and darkspawn through the land of Thedas as they pursue Elton and ultimately bring him to safety. BioWare has said that Legends will feature multiplayer, although didn’t go into specifics like how many friends can join a party....

In an announcement from Crunchyroll, who’s handling the movie’s distribution, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero is slated for a North American theatrical release in North American theaters beginning on August 19. The release date of August 19 also extends to the United Kingdom and Ireland, and other territories are slated for release dates in varying days around the same period. When presenting the game, Gearbox President Randy Pitchford expressed his excitement that their studio had been in a postion to bring the game to completion, but stopped short of giving any details on ownership or property rights. But now, 3D Realms’ Scott Miller and George Broussard, the previous owners of the Duke Nukem name, have revealed that the franchise and its tiular hero are now property of Gearbox Software....

The CW renewed Dynasty for Season 4 in January 2020 along with over a dozen of its series. Announced via the PlayStation Blog, D3 has confirmed that Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable is set for a Winter release. This is only a few months after the Japanese version of the game, which launched back in September of this year. The game itself will come packed with all of the extra content included in the Japanese re-release (the game was originally released on the 360 in 2007), including bonus missions and a brand new character, Pale Wing....

The tutorials are limited, vital plot information is buried within random item descriptions and it’s not immediately apparent how you are supposed to level up. This is par for the course when it comes to the Soulsborne genre (which Elden Ring firmly belongs to), as that sense of mystery is what people like about the experience.
